Ayla's Quilt

A little post here to show the rest of you the quilt I made for Ayla, Tera & Bill's baby girl expected to arrive any day.

Here is the front view.

We know she'll have a 'princess' theme & so we chose the butterfly fabric that has many pastel colors throughout.

The back side has roses in each of the fabrics used as her middle name is 'Rose'.

I used the quilt as you go method and also made extra quilting stitches along each panel for added texture & hopefully, to make it last through many washings.

And most importantly to make it last through lots of cuddling that baby!!!
