Quilt Story

Back in January 2010 I finished the 'heart' of this hexagon quilt. I left the sashing color for later on.

Over one year later, I decided on yellow. I think this lo-o-n-n-g winter we just got over had a big influence on my color choice. No Black for me!!

If you ever get to Sedalia, Missouri, our welcome center is here at the Katy Depot. I didn't get the hours it's open, but we didn't want to go inside on Sunday. We wanted to use the scenery for a backdrop.

Why the pianos??? Sedalia is the home of the Scott Joplin Ragtime Festival.

And I'm very thankful for the opportunity to use them for my quilt photos.
