Busy Week

It really started on Thursday night. Kirsten got an up-do for her orchestra concert.
She was very happy with it.
Another job well done by Mary at Utopia Salon!
Friday afternoon, the daycare children and a few parents & grandparents joined us for our
annual Christmas caroling in the neighborhood. We even had treat bags for the
lucky recipients!
There's an adorable Santa suit under that jean jacket!! Thanks Mom Mary for letting me post this one!

Tonight is the annual family White Elephant Christmas party. We're taking these Red Velvet Cookies.
We have a cookie exchange & so we'll be bringing home an ample supply of sweets by the end of the evening.

Here they are iced. We made 3 batches so we'll have plenty to trade. Can't wait for Aunt Glenda's pizzelle's!
For our entree contribution, I made Cornbread Salad. It's a family favorite and we don't think it has to be summertime to enjoy this dish.
As for my White Elephant gift, you'll have to wait til after the party so I don't give away my
surprise.
It's fabulous!!!!!
