Daycare Hilites

We read Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and used our hands to create last week!
Outdoors we made Nature Imprints with playdoh & nature items around the yard.
They love discovering.
We used home-made playdoh, canning rings & whatever they thought was pretty from nature.
This one is Alexa's, age 7.
A Big thank you goes out to a great tutorial by The Sisters 4 say MORE is more blog for providing the idea for our next project. We recycled sleeves from t-shirts that I'd been using for tying up my tomato plants in the garden. We found the Sisters 4 using them for 'rock n roll' style necklaces. I needed necklace material for lacing our noodles. So ta da! An idea was born for childcare. It worked out tremendously well because the children used them for necklaces, crowns, seatbelts & headbands. Here are the photos in progression....

So proud they are using 'sewing' skills & learning & don't even know it!!!
