Fair Week & Keepin' Cool

Color Bears & Ferris Wheel Match Activity
Just so you know, My kids are so-o-o-o Missouri State Fair Savvy. We have to bring it into our learning centers each year. Of course, it doesn't help that we live across the highway from the fairgrounds & can hear the concerts warming up as well as the tractor pulls goin' on. Not to mention that we have the horses riding up & down the trail for exercise. Don't forget those hot air balloons. And then they see my two daughters leaving to work with their "staff" t-shirts emblazoned with the Fair's logo for the year. For parents hoping to avoid the costly visit to our city's prized possesion, The Prestigious Missouri State Fair, you'll need to move to another town for 12 days. Don't even shop here. Drive to Warsaw. (I love Warsaw so don't be offended)
Beyond the Fair, keeping cool was our other challenge. We had limited time outdoors each day & it was right after breakfast so that we could beat the heat. Water-table play made the grade. Too bad your can't hear their squeals.

Did you know that the best way to eat a popsickle is in your swimsuit??
Trust me on this one.
