Indoor gardening

Our little project for the day was planting marigolds indoors. We'll be planting more stuff tomorrow morning, but outdoors in big containers instead. Here's our "window garden" on Day 1.
Once they're grown enough to transplant, we'll only need to cut our sections up for easier removal by little fingers.Going to try some recyling of containers to put our flowers into when the time comes. They could be in decoupaged juice cans, painted vegie or fruit cans(no sharp edges of course), or in a yogert container. We'll decide later which one I have collected the most of. They'll be thrilled to see their photos growing "Online" and also be able to show family at home on their computers. This should be fun for them the next few weeks.
